Nepal finally hosted an International Friendly Match against Mauritius an African nation on January 29 and February 1 both the games were played on Dasharath Rangasala, Kathmandu.
This match was much needed for the Nepalese national side because we usually play against South Asian teams only. The lack in experience is one of the many reason why Nepalese team struggle in Inter-Continental tournaments.
Nepal will soon participate in AFC Asian cup qualification 2022 which will start from 11th June 2022. This match will be perfect for practice and long gap that Nepal has faced in international football. Nepal is in Group A against Indonasia, Jordan and Kuwait.
